“I think my eyes are the only thing I love about my body”

I think that I have many stories …

My life is particular, not only for my deafness, but it’s also supernatural, I was often traveling in different countries and  I would meet shaman people and they would always say  that my spirit/guardian is a blue Phoenix and I have the same blue eye like this Phoenix, and the green is the forest… as two different dimensions overlapping and then became a dream world (I can feel and see many different things what people can’t see).

My green eye sometime change colour, sometime it becomes green and sometimes  brown, because of my emotions and the weather…

I think my eyes are the only thing I love about my body.

There’s one that for me it’s very interesting, a my master told me that the blue eye represents sweetness, ocean and present, the green eye represent creativity, moss/forest and past :]]…

Ironically, fate took away my hearing, but  offered these magic eyes.

When I was 12 my parents wanted a new dog. I know they are watching some dogs and they told me they found a ‘bitch’.

A few weeks later I was at home waiting on my parents. The “bitch” was coming that day!

I was so excited.

The first time is saw her it was… well. I can say love at first sight. She had the same eyes as mine. Not only the exact same colours but also on the right sides ❤

The dog became more like a sister for me we did everything together so when I was 22 and I had a home for myself ofcourse she moved with me. She did not accept my new boyfriend. She was the one lying next to me in bed nobody came in-between.

After all she had a beautiful live, she died in my arms and now she is on my shoulder for ever. Now I have 4 eyes with 2 colours on the front an on my back.

Having heterochromia was never a problem for me. Everybody loves my eyes! Well I can say I have a beautiful mistake by nature i’ m unique and I love it.

I was born with many talents and developed a sixth sense, just to help people around me, but I never had the feeling of “being special”.

As a newborn baby it quickly became clear that something was off with my eyes. Congenital cataract. After a few months the lens was removed from my left eye. Because of this condition, my eye didn’t grow any further and it turned from blue to green. As a teenager I struggled a lot with the difference in my eyes. Everything what is different, is an occasion for bullying on this age. This brought me a lot of insecurities. Now, after almost 10 years, I got the chance for this project. For people with different eye colors, my bullies didn’t get this opportunity. I am happy to grab this chance to make something beautiful out of my specialness. Nowadays I work as a teacher on an elementary school. Occasionally, the children notice my eyes and comment on that. Not always tactical, but very funny. One time, an 8 year old boy was very angry. I tried to calm him down by talking to him. He looked at me with his angry eyes and and suddenly his looked changed and he said: WOW TEACHER, your eyes are really cool. His anger disappeared. That was convenient! Piece by piece I accept my special eyes and I see it as something unique. This experience helps with this and I am grateful for that.

Okay, Heterochromia Iridum. No one really cared what you looked like. Your skin color, your hair type, your eye color. It was all thrown in the bin of “Who cares?”. Imagine this.
