My eyes have always had a beautiful golden/yellow ring around my pupil. My mother and youngest son also have this majestic “ring.” My eye color constantly changes from blue to green to gray but the gold ring always stays. People always ask me if I am wearing contacts. My father has ice blue eyes and my mom “hazel.” I have asked an eye doctor what color my eyes are and he says blue but I refuse conform to it. I honestly never know what to say so usually go with hazel.
